Mr. Don H. Riebe's Obituary
Mr. Don H. Riebe, age 82, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2009 in Muskegon. He was born in Grand Rapids on May 19, 1926 to Frederick and Clara (Stier) Riebe and had lived in Muskegon for over 50 years. Don was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in WWII. He was employed for 20 years as an operator for Consumers Power before he retired. Don was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading, golfing, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. On June 9, 1956 in Montague, MI, he married the former Shirley Hughes and she preceded him in death on August 10, 1996. He is survived by 3 sons, Donald (Cheryl) Riebe of Zeeland, MI, Gary Riebe of Hart, MI and David (Kathy) Riebe of Berkley, MI; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Dorothy Eisenlohr of Texas and several nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be 2PM Saturday, February 28, 2009 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. VISITATION will be from 5-9PM tonight, Friday, February 27, 2009 at
