Mr. Earl W.P. Westedt's Obituary
Mr. Earl W.P. Westedt, age 96, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 20, 2007. He was born to Otto and Barbara (Zimmerman) Westedt on April 17, 1910 in Forest Park, IL. Earl married the former Haroldine Taylor on February 21, 1939, and together they enjoyed 68 wonderful years. After serving his country in the Civilian Conservation Corp’s, he was chief electrician for Kaydon Engineering during WWII. He worked for years as a journeyman electrician and retired from Hall Electric Company in 1976. Mr. Westedt was a 60 year member of the Local 275. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and boating with is family. Besides his beloved wife Haroldine, he leaves sons Terry (Donna), Tom, Craig (Val) and Randy (Linda); daughters, Karen (Randolph) Stano, Pam (Rick) Erickson, Debbie (Les) Porter and Nancy (Tim) Govan. He also leaves 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Glenn; sister Pearl; and grandson Keith. SERVICES will be held at 11AM Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd) with Rev. Dennis L. Lassanske officiating. INTERMENT will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
