Mr. Frank P. Gordon's Obituary
Mr. Frank P. Gordon, age 83, went to be with his Lord Monday evening, August 24, 2009. He was born in Michigan City, IN on May 26, 1926 to Frank Percy and Edna Loretta (Koehler) Gordon and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Mr. Gordon had been a purchasing agent for Teledyne Continental Motors and Naph Sol before retiring in 1981. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Mr. Gordon was a member of Samuel Lutheran Church and the Gideons. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching sports, and being with his family. Frank married the former Jeannette Erna Kriesel in Muskegon, MI on November 8, 1952 and she survives him along with 3 children, Mark (Debbie) Gordon of Twin Lake, MI, Greg (Paula) Gordon of St. Joseph, MI, Sue (Dan) Gobel of Bedford, NH; 5 grandchildren, Mark David (fiancée, Elizabeth Hamelink) Gordon, Stefanie Gordon, Brianne Gobel, Taylor Gordon and Trenton Gobel. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, Catherine “Dolly” Elliott, Gail Gordon and Archie Gordon. SERVICES will be 3PM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Paul Bengtson officiating. VISITATION will be from 6-8PM Friday. INTERMENT will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
