Mr. Gerald "Kelly" Clawson's Obituary
Mr. Gerald “Kelly” Clawson, age 93, passed away Monday evening, February 25, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on February 24, 1915 to Noel and Irene (McMahon) Clawson and was a life resident. Mr. Clawson had been employed by the City of Muskegon Heights as a supervisor for over 30 years before retiring in 1977. He married the former Alice L. Cook in September of 1938 and she survives him along with 2 children, Irene (Roland) Sorenson and Judy (David) Krol; 3 grandchildren, Patrick (Sue) Sorenson, Penny Sorenson, Bonnie (Tully) Drecchio; 8 great-grandchildren, including his special great-granddaughter and caregiver, Jacie Clapper; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Norene (Albert) Flickema; and 2 sisters-in-law, Jackie Clawson and Marie Clawson. He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Kelly Scott; 3 brothers, Donald, Floyd, and Richard Clawson; and 1 sister, Millie Upson. VISITATION will be 6-8PM Thursday at
