Mr. James Elden "Jim" Wever's Obituary
Mr. James Elden “Jim” Wever, age 64, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2007 at his home in Muskegon. He was born in Fremont, MI on August 7, 1942 to Harvey and Marie (Westra) Wever. Jim was a salesman for Commonwealth Brands before retiring in 2005. Jim loved to golf and was a 34 year member of Lincoln Golf Club. He also enjoyed bowling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. On March 7, 1964, Jim married the former Roxanne “Roxi” Veitenheimer and she survives him along with 3 children, Todd Wever of Muskegon, Tanya (Michael) Birr of Muskegon and Tiffany (Jeffrey) Pitts of Mosinee, WI; 10 grandchildren, Nichole, Jarred, Colin, and Seth Wever, Andrew, Justin, and Meghan Birr, Tyler, Kelsey, and Dylan Pitts; 1 brother, Stanley (Elaine) Wever of Lansing, MI; 1 sister, Donna Hren (Art Millis) of Fremont, MI; 1 niece, 4 nephews, and many special friends and loyal golf buddies. He was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 1PM Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Masonic Temple (396 W. Clay) with Rev. John Rager officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS in Jim’s name may be made to Hackley VNS Hospice.
