Mr. Joe Zuidema, age 90, passed away Tuesday evening, February 12, 2008 in Zeeland. Joe was born March 18, 1917 to Herman and Jennie (Huizenga) Zuidema in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident of Muskegon. He was retired from Dres Read Obituary

Just wanted to let you know that you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Our fathers hold such a special place in a daughter's heart, they are forever our heros. It really doesn't matter how old they were or we are - the world just isn't the quite same as it was before they left us. I had the privilege of getting to know Joe in his later years, when he moved into Christian Care assisted living center. I enjoyed his sense of humor and his quick wit. And I had to be creative and flexible to get around his great stubborn streak! He liked to give me a hard time, and I liked to give him one back!
