Mr. Kenneth Earl Gundy's Obituary
Mr. Kenneth Earl Gundy, age 86, passed away early Thursday morning, August 25, 2005. He was born in West Plains, MO on March 16, 1919 to Earl and Hester (Lamons) Gundy, and was a resident of the Muskegon area for most of his life. Mr. Gundy was employed by West Michigan Steel for 35 years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the Elks. Ken was an avid golfer and fisher, and enjoyed spending winters in Florida with his wife Vi. On June 29, 1947, he married the former Vi Meyer, and she survives him along with two daughters, Bonnie Berg and special friend Robert Muttart and Carol (Larry) Kwolek; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Gundy and Delmar (Julia) Gundy; sister-in-law, Lucille Gundy; and very special cousin, Bambi Walters. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Norman Gundy and one sister, Betty Pierce. SERVICES will be 11 am Saturday, August 27, at Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Randall Hansen and Chaplain Jan Johnson officiating. VISITATION will be 5-8 pm tonight, Friday, at
