Mr. Nelse S. Beattie's Obituary
Mr. Nelse S. Beattie, age 71, passed away early Friday morning, December 22, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born December 1, 1935 to Charles V. and Lucille (Christensen) Beattie in Muskegon and was a life resident. Nelse had worked at Muskegon Construction Company for 43 years before retiring on December 1, 1993. He was a member of the Labor Union Local #865 and the Moose Lodge for many years. He also enjoyed bowling and golfing. On December 7, 1953, he married Betty McAllister in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include his wife, Betty; 3 children, David (Linda) Beattie of Muskegon, Daniel (Catherine) Beattie of Canton, MI and Dale (Sue) Beattie of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Tricia (Gerald) Werner, Melissa, Amanda, Jennifer, Amber and Scott Beattie; 1 great-grandson, Nathan Werner; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brother, Richard and a nephew, Richard Beattie, Jr. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 26 at
