Mr. Raymond R. "Raybo" Bowen's Obituary
Mr. Raymond R. “Raybo” Bowen, age 53, went to be with his Lord Wednesday, August 17, 2005 in the presence of his family and friends. He was born in Muskegon on February 13, 1952 to Richard and Marie (Cole) Bowen, and was a life resident. Raymond was employed by Verizon for 30 years before retiring in 2004. He attended River of Life Fellowship Church. Raybo loved golf and was a member at Lincoln Golf Course. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. On April 27, 1974, he married the former Carrie “Porky” Curtis, and she survives him along with 2 children, Jason (Mandy) Bowen and Jeanna (Mark) McNarland; 3 grandchildren, Madisyn Bowen, Haley and Kaelyn McNarland; father, Richard Bowen; brother, Dale Bowen; many friends and Lincoln Golf Course buddies.
