Mr. Richard Fricke's Obituary
Mr. Richard F. Fricke, age 93, passed away Thursday evening, February 15, 2007 at a nursing home in Kalamazoo. He was born in Muskegon on July 20, 1913 to Charles and Maude (Olmstead) Fricke, and had been a resident of the area for most of his life. Mr. Fricke had been employed as an engineer by Teledyne Continental Motors before retiring in 1977. He was retired from the UAW and was a member of the Muskegon Vikings. Mr. Fricke enjoyed flying, golfing, dancing, and wintering in Florida for the past 20 years. On August 18, 1934, he married the former Irene E. Nelson, and she survives him along with 5 children, Phyllis (Gerald) Baas of Kalamazoo, Fred (Glenda) Fricke of Kalamazoo, Dick (Sharon) Fricke of Bloomingdale, Helen (Larry) Rozneck of Grand Haven, Bruce (Tammy) Fricke of Kalamazoo; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 infant son, Robert; 1 sister and 3 brothers. SERVICES will be 11AM Monday at
