Mr. Robert C. Felcoski's Obituary
Mr. Robert C. Felcoski, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at a local hospital in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on July 11, 1944 to Anthony and Sophie (Novak) Felcoski and was a life resident of the area. Mr. Felcoski was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Muskegon County where he served as Sheriff Deputy for 31 years before retiring in 1999. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and an active member of the F.O.P. Bob was an avid golfer, enjoyed working in his yard, listening to jazz around the fire pit, and always more golf. Many people enjoyed Bob’s sense of humor and will remember him for his dedication to his job and to his community. On September 14, 1968, Bob married the former Sharon Lux and she survives him along with 1 daughter, Ami Felcoski of Roosevelt Park; grand-dog, Alix; his father and mother-in-law, Neil and Margaret Lux; 3 brothers, Dan (Mary) Felcoski of FL, Jack (Mary Ann) Felcoski of CA and John Felcoski of Spring Lake; 3 sisters, Darlene (Norman) Wood and Mary Jean (Bob) Heaton, both of Roosevelt Park and Betty (Tom) Sheridan of NC; 1 aunt, Carrie Larsen; many nieces, nephews and special friends. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11AM Saturday at Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Anthony M. Pelak presiding. VISITATION will be from 10-11AM Saturday. MEMORIALS in Bob’s name may be made to F.O.P. Lodge #99 or to Prince of Peace Church.
