Mrs. Adelheid M. "Heidi" Strong's Obituary
Mrs. Adelheid M. “Heidi” Strong, age 79, passed away Saturday evening, July 7, 2007 at her home. She was born on December 14, 1927 in Innsbruck, Austria to Peter and Anna (Krowerath) Thielen. Mrs. Strong was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the VFW Post #7729 – Women’s Auxiliary. She loved to cook, bake, and knit. Mrs. Strong met her husband, Raymond, in Fontainebleau France, and they were married there on September 21, 1956. They moved to the United States on July 4, 1959, and after residing in many different areas, settled in Muskegon in 1971. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond; 1 daughter, Heidi (Richard) Yager; 2 grandsons, Richard Yager, Jr. and Robert Yager and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Robert Thielen. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 10AM Thursday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. INTERMENT will be in Egelston Township Cemetery. MEMORIALS in Mrs. Strong’s name may be made to Harbor Hospice.
