Mrs. Alice Mae Klug's Obituary
Mrs. Alice Mae Klug, age 82, passed away Friday evening, July 21, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on April 21, 1924 to Matthew W. and Lola B. (Welch) Edwards and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Klug retired from JC Penny after 40 years of employment. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was active with the women’s Bible study and was a former member of Tops. Mrs. Klug enjoyed volleyball, softball and was very active in her grandchildren’s lives and loved attending their sporting events. On January 19, 1946, she married William E. Klug and he preceded her in death on April 4, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Fugitt; 1 granddaughter, Kellie Marie Fugitt and her parents. She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Kimberly S. (Shawn) Sims of Humble, TX, Shawn M. (Sharron) Fugitt of Grand Rapids, John S. Fugitt of Muskegon, Greg A. Fugitt of Muskegon and Jeff D. Fugitt of Holton; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Matthew (Betty) Edwards of Chicago, IL. SERVICES will be 11AM Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis L. Lassanske officiating. VISITATION will be 4-8PM Monday at
