Mrs. Alyce Mae Lemke's Obituary
Mrs. Alyce Mae Lemke, age 71, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, September 23, 2009. She was born in Muskegon on March 22, 1938 to Albert and Nellie Hasseldahl and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Lemke was retired from the City of Roosevelt Park where she served as treasurer. She was a member of West Michigan Outdoor Group (WeMOG) and loved biking, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing and ice skating. Alyce also enjoyed volunteering at the Frauenthal Center. On December 7, 1957, Alyce married Edward Lemke and he survives her along with 4 children, Robert (Anne) Lemke, Tammy (Larry) Finch, Kraig Lemke and Kurt (Tracy) Lemke; 7 grandchildren, Andrea, April, Larry, Ben, Adam, Krystal, Tess and 1 brother, Charles (Sally) Hasseldahl. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Audrey and Jack Reberg. VISITATION will be from 1-2PM Monday followed by a CELEBRATION OF HER LIFE starting at 2PM at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Rev.
