Mrs. Carol Fay McGruther's Obituary
Mrs. Carol Fay McGruther, age 63, passed away Monday morning, October 19, 2009 at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on August 27, 1946 to Robert and Virginia (Gilmore) Fairfield and was a life resident of the area. Carol had been employed by GMI Composites for over 31 years. She enjoyed being outside and working on her 4 ponds. She is survived by 3 daughters, Virginia (Delbert) Lee, Tina (Ron) Larson and Cindy Fox, all of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren, Rebecca Lee, Michael Lee, Jennie Lee, Ronald Larson, Jr., Katie Larson, Joshua “Buckwheat” Larson, Tiffany (Brad) Childers, and Robert Fox; 1 great-granddaughter, Chasity Larson; 1 brother, Ira (Linda) Fairfield of Kaleva, MI; 4 sisters, Vera Yates of Hesperia, MI, Ella (Gary) Temple of Valley Center, KS, Linda Fairfield of Muskegon and Laura “Peggy” (John) Gansbauer of Charleston, IN; her foster mother, Hilda Smith; 1 foster sister, Cindy (Rich) Bourdo and 2 foster brothers, Tom and Chuck Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 great-granddaughter, Emma Pena; 1 brother, Baby Earl and 1 brother-in-law, Ken Yates. SERVICES will be 11:00AM Friday at
