SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT AUNT CHAR PASSED AWAY. SHE WAS A FUN LOVING SPIRIT, AND ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN FOREVER, I'LL REMEMBER HER FOREVER. I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR CHRISTMAS GET TOGETHERS'
WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND WONDER TO THIS DAY HOW SHE MANAGED ALL YOU KIDS, BUT SHE DID IT WELL, AND I'M SURE WAS JOYFUL OF ALL YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND ALL THE GRANDCHILDREN TO KEEP HER BUSY. MY FONDEST MEMORY OF CHAR WAS A DAY AT FORD LAKE, WHEN TOM AND I WERE WALKING AROUND THE LAKE AND I WAS ATTACKED BY A HORNET THAT STUNG ME AT LEAST SIX TIMES. WHEN WE GOT BACK TO THE COTTAGE, CHAR MADE A CONCOCTION OF BAKING SODA, VINEGAR AND I'M SURE A SECRET INGREDIANT KNOWN ONLY TO HER, AND APPLIED IT TO MY THEN SWOLLEN BITES. TO MY ASTONISHMENT THOSE NASTY BITES RECEDED WITHIN A HALF HOUR AND THE PAIN WAS GONE!! I'M RAMBLING, BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW, MY LOVE GOES OUT TO YOU ALL, AND MY PRAYERS ALSO.
LOVE,
JEFF##imported-begin##JEFF BOURDON##imported-end##
Dear Bruce and Marti,
So sorry for you on your mother's passing, but I am confident she had a joyful journey on earth with her seven children and many grandchildren. I know you feel blessed to have had her in your life for so many years. God rest her soul.
It was great to see you both at the reunion and the experience was terrific. Thanks for being you.
Love, Maribeth Bland##imported-begin##Maribeth Ashcraft Bland##imported-end##

My sympathy to the entire Tom Bourdon family. My best friend is Michelle Bourdon Poplaski and so I feel I know the family through the years. I went to school w/ Jennine LeFavre, my sister Maribeth graduated w/ Marti and Bruce I do believe. My sympathies to all of you, it's so extremely hard to lose family members, especially a parent. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Know that Val and Vern were there to greet Charlene w/ open arms.##imported-begin##Marsha Ashcraft Mahynski##imported-end##
Mom Bourdon will alway have a special place in my heart. As a friend of Peggy's I spent many days (and nights!) at the house and both Mom and Dad Bourdon treated us as if we were one of their own. Our love and prayers go out to the entire family.
With love,

I remember Charlene as a very pretty young lady who was the apple in the eyes of her parents, George and Leona. My connection to the family was through brothers Bud and Jim. Bud and I sang in a barbershop quartet in high School, and Jim and I spent hours and hours fishing on Muskegon and Bear Lakes. I want to offer my condolences to her family, and let me say that her many children, grand children and great grand children make for a beautiful legacy.##imported-begin##Dick Hester##imported-end##
