Mrs. Elsie Tomorsky's Obituary
Mrs. Elsie Tomorsky, age 83, passed away Thursday morning, August 28, 2008 at her home in Norton Shores. She was born in Irons, MI on May 29, 1925 to John C. and Susie (Kavalouskas) Milosh and had lived in Muskegon for most of her life. Mrs. Tomorsky was a registered nurse and was retired from the State of Michigan Corrections Department. She had previously been employed as a surgical nurse at Hackley Hospital. Mrs. Tomorsky was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. On June 25, 1949, she married Julius A. “Tuffy” Tomorsky and he preceded her in death on December 21, 1994. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Margaret “Penni” (Timothy) Moening of Grand Prairie, TX and Susan (Juan) Prieto of Norton Shores; 5 grandchildren, Michael (Kathy) Valliere, Elizabeth (Christopher) Singleton, Daniel (Shelle Budreau) Bosma, Andrew Bosma and Adrian Prieto; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and 3 sisters. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 11:00AM Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church – Marian Chapel. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8PM Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565. The ROSARY will be prayed at 6PM Wednesday. INTERMENT will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS in Mrs. Tomorsky’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
