Mrs. Janice Mae Mowery's Obituary
Mrs. Janice Mae Mowery, age 71, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 in Muskegon. She was born in Merrill, WI on September 24, 1938 to Arley and Thelma (Snow) Mahn. Mrs. Mowery was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved arts and crafts and traveling with her husband in their motor home. On July 13, 1957, Jan married Roth Mowery in Elkhart, IN and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2009. She is survived by her children, Sherri (Daniel) Robart of Muskegon and Mark (JoAn) Mowery of Portage; 3 grandchildren, Trevor and Alex Dickerson and Anelyse Mowery; 2 brothers, Donald (Chris) Mahn and Denny (Darlene) Mahn and 1 sister, Judy (Frank) Begley. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church at a later date. MEMORIALS in Mrs. Mowery’s name may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
