Mrs. Jean M. Lekutis' Obituary
Mrs. Jean M. Lekutis, age 76, died Sunday afternoon, July 10, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born on July 30, 1928 in Flint, MI to Christian and Caroline (Bachel) Krebsbach. The former Jean M. Krebsbach married Frank (Pranas) Lekutis on January 25, 1964, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Flint. Survivors include two children, Christine A. Lekutis, PhD. of Oakland, CA, and John P. Lekutis of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Elmer and Glenn Krebsbach both of Flint, MI; 2 sister-in-laws, Mary Kuslikis of Grand Rapids and MeiLing Krebsbach of California and many nieces and nephews in the United States and Canada. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; 2 sisters, Elaine Krebsbach and Leone Hodges and 4 brothers, Cyril, Earl, Vernon, and Dale Krebsbach. Before Mrs. Lekutis was married she was active in the Legion of Mary, and a member of the Industrial Business Women and the Catholic Business Women in Flint. After getting married she was a member of The Third Order of Carmelites, Legion of Mary, Rosary Altar Society, Eucharistic Minister, Muskegon Right to Life, and Mercy General Auxiliary as a volunteer in the Mercy Gift Shop. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Muskegon. VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Thursday at

with the Rosary prayed at 7PM. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 10AM Friday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church (1716 Sixth St.). INTERMENT will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested for the Muskegon County Right to Life or the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry.
