Mrs. Lois Hayden's Obituary
Mrs. Lois Hayden, age 89, passed away August 1, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born in Connellsville, PA on June 10, 1917 to Gilbert and Gladys (Brahm) Shaw and had been a resident of Muskegon for the past 6 years. She was a former resident of Walled Lake, MI before retiring to Florida with her husband. Mrs. Hayden was an assistant manager and teller for Comerica Bank in Birmingham, MI for 30 years before retiring in 1976. She was a former member of First Methodist Church of Ferndale, MI, was active playing pinochle and was a member of several pinochle groups on the east side of the state before moving to Norton Shores. Lois was an avid gardener. On February 8, 1939, Lois married Edward Hayden in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Gale (Otto) Blendin of Norton Shores; 2 grandchildren, Erin Kinch of East Lansing, MI and Douglas (Tawnya) Blendin of Columbus, IN and 5 great grandchildren, Ellen and Samuel Kinch, Douglas, Siera, and Joseph Blendin.
