Mrs. Lorraine V. "Lori" Zbojniewicz's Obituary
Mrs. Lorraine V. “Lori” Zbojniewicz, age 88, passed away Monday morning, January 16, 2012, in Muskegon. She was born in Stevens Point, WI, on October 14, 1923, to Dan and Hattie (Sobish) Kotlewski and had lived most of her life in Muskegon. Mrs. Zbojniewicz was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church where she volunteered with the funeral luncheon group. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, knitting, gardening, and most importantly, spending time with her family. On June 14, 1947, Lorraine married Julius “Duke” Zbojniewicz in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 21, 1991. She is survived by 5 children, Michael (Lyn) Zbojniewicz of Sparta, MI, Marlene Evans of Muskegon, MI, Mark (Shelley) Zbojniewicz of Tucson, AZ, Matt (Kaye) Zbojniewicz of Anaconda, MT, and Marie (Dan) Greve of Alto, MI; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren (and two on the way); and one sister, Jeanette Tufts. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Charles Evans; sister, Doris North, and brother, Stan Kotlewski. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown presiding. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Wednesday at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with the ROSARY PRAYED at 6:00 PM. BURIAL will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church General Fund.
