Mrs. Lura Mary "Pat" Dykstra's Obituary
Mrs. Lura Mary “Pat” Dykstra, age 58, passed away Monday, February 27, 2006. She was born in Niagra Falls, NY on February 15, 1948 to John Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (McGlaughlin) Whitaker, and has been a resident of Muskegon most of her life. Pat had worked various nursing jobs in Muskegon and was a very active member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church. On September 21, 1968, she married Melvin L. Dykstra, and he survives her along with 1 daughter, Heather Swiatek; 1 granddaughter, Mary-Jo Elizabeth Swiatek; and 1 half sister, Nelda Debevic. She was preceded in death by her parents. A SERVICE will be held 1:30PM Thursday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Wednesday at
