Mrs. Margaret Ann Wise's Obituary
Mrs. Margaret Ann Wise, age 74, passed away Saturday morning, July 19, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born in Leavenworth, KA on December 7, 1933 to Oscar and Esther (Lyness) Thorsen. Mrs. Wise had been the organist at Trinity Lutheran Church and Edgewood Lutheran Church before retiring 5 years ago. She was an accomplished artist. On December 20, 1957, Margaret married Charles “Charlie” Wise and he survives her along with 2 daughters, Brenda (David) Boersema of Spring Lake and Cindy (Tom) Johengen of Ann Arbor; 5 grandchildren, Jake and Jesse Johengen, Elise, Kelsey and Maggie Boersema and 1 brother, George (Kay) Thorsen. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Brian Wise. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Friday, July 25, at 4 pm at Edgewood Lutheran Church (2525 E. Pontaluna Rd, Fruitport) with Rev. John Thorsen officiating. INTERMENT will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. MEMORIALS in Mrs. Wise’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
