Mrs. Marilyn J. Spring's Obituary
Mrs. Marilyn Joyce Spring, age 69, passed away Saturday evening, May 24, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born in Fruitland Township, MI on December 6, 1938 to Frank and Eveline (Pulaski) Ackerberg and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Spring attended Fruitland Covenant Church, loved to work in her garden, and enjoyed decorating her house. On September 1, 1956, Marilyn married Philip D. Spring and he survives her along with 2 children, Philip A. Spring of Muskegon and Kelly (Robert) McKinnon of Whitehall; 6 grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren and Nathan Spring of Muskegon, Jessica Dobben of Whitehall, Amy and Bobbie McKinnon of Whitehall; 2 brothers, James (Marie) Ackerberg of Hesperia and Frank (Terry) Ackerberg of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Eloise (Harold) Gunderson of Benton Harbor and Carol Boersema of Twin Lake; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter, Mary Lou. SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday at Fruitland Covenant Church with Rev. Brian Kyle officiating.
