Mrs. Marlene G. Scholl's Obituary
Mrs. Marlene G. Scholl, age 64, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2009 in Muskegon.  She was born in Muskegon on September 12, 1944 to Arvin and Margaret (Krukowski) Barber.  Marlene was a great mom and grandma; she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed going to the casino, playing the lottery, cooking and always kept a spotless home.  On May 4, 1963, Marlene married Charles Thomas Scholl, Jr.  After they were married, they traveled around the world because of Charles’ military career before settling in Whitehall in 1980.  Marlene was a member of the VFW Post #8846 Ladies Auxiliary.  SURVIVORS include her husband, Charles Thomas Scholl, Jr.; 2 daughters, Cindy (Larry Mumper) Scholl and Annette (John) Montgomery; 6 grandchildren, Mike (Joyce) Montgomery, James (Tina) Montgomery, John Montgomery, Jr., Christopher Scholl, and Nathan and Amanda Montgomery; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James (Wendy Skorupa) Barber; 3 sisters, Beverly (Mike) Hekkema, Sandra (Steve) Earl and Diane (Mike) Arnold and many nieces and nephews, to whom she was known as Aunt Mar.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-dad, Charles Redner; 1 brother, Allen Barber; 1 sister, Karen Dursema and 3 nephews.  SERVICES will be 11AM Wednesday at
