Mrs. Nell W. Vaughn's Obituary
Mrs. Nell W. Vaughn, age 95, passed away Friday morning, September 26, 2008 in Spring Lake, MI. She was born in Greenville, TN on October 12, 1912 to G.M. and Margaret (Harrison) Thetford and had lived in the Muskegon area since 1945. Mrs. Vaughn was a life-long member of Lakeside United Methodist Church where she was involved in the Charity Circle women’s group. She enjoyed quilting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. On April 16, 1928, Nell married Felton Vaughn and he preceded her in death in 1968. She is survived by 4 sons, Bill Vaughn, Jim (Donna) Vaughn, Bob Vaughn and Fred (Barbara) Vaughn; 2 daughters, Margaret “Peggy” Schmidt and Joyce Carter; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, Nell was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son, Dennis Vaughn and 2 daughters, Jean Privacky and Doris Lurie. SERVICES will be 11AM Tuesday at
