Mrs. Phyllis Lee Zimmer's Obituary
Mrs. Phyllis Lee Zimmer, age 72, passed away Tuesday evening, January 17, 2006 at a local hospital. She was born in Muskegon on February 14, 1933 to Leo and Ellen Mable (Carr) Charland and was a life resident. Phyllis loved to go to garage sales, make crafts, and watch the birds and deer in her backyard. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. Her family will always remember her creativity in making the holidays very special and memorable times. On August 27, 1956, Phyllis married Gerald R. “Jerry” Zimmer in Muskegon, and he survives her along with 2 sons, Gerald “Jerry” Zimmer, Jr. and Doug (Kim) Zimmer; 4 grandchildren, Robbie, Jacob, Kyle and Marci; 2 sisters, Louise (Elmer) Wood and Jackie (Bob) Bringedahl, and close friend, Donna Goodman. SERVICES will be 9AM Saturday at
