Mrs. Ruth Virginia Oliver's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Virginia Oliver, age 89, passed away Wednesday morning, May 20, 2009. She was born on January 10, 1920 to Charles and Alma (Last) Ewing and was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Mrs. Oliver had been a clerk at Oslund’s Store for 18 years before her retirement. She was a member of Dalton Baptist Church, Twin Lake Senior Citizens, and was a Red Cross blood drive volunteer. Ruth enjoyed knitting and crocheting projects for her grandchildren and she enjoyed gardening. On October 11, 1942, Ruth married Warren Oliver in Twin Lake, MI. She is survived by 2 children, Charles (Sandra) Oliver and Virginia (Lawrence) Lee, both of Twin Lake; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; her parents; 2 sisters, Tillie Ramalia and Hazel Twait; and 1 great-grandson, Benjamin Hewitt. SERVICES will be 11AM Saturday at Dalton Baptist Church (3777 Holton Rd., Muskegon, MI 49445) with Rev. Allan J. Engstrom officiating. VISITATION will be 5-8PM Friday at
