Mrs. Sharon Louise Davis' Obituary
Mrs. Sharon Louise Davis, age 65, passed away early Thursday morning, September 1, 2011 at Heartland Health in Whitehall. Sharon was born in Battle Creek, MI on September 27, 1945 to James Livingston and Winifred Emily (Burton) Lieb. Sharon married Lloyd Alan Davis in Muskegon on February 11, 1967 and he preceded her in death on October 22, 1994. She had worked as a Para-pro and teacher’s assistant in the Muskegon Public School system for 30 years prior to her retirement. Sharon was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she had served on the Sunday School Teachers Committee. She had also run the church youth groups; the Jets and the Luther League. Sharon enjoyed working with ceramics at The Happy Mudders and was a camping enthusiast for many years. She was a member of the Vikings Linne’ Lodge 57, Big Reds Band Parents, as well as the Red Hat Society. Sharon is survived by her 2 daughters, Shawn (Kory) Luker and Marnie (John) Fielstra, all of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Kyleen Coletta of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 9, 2011 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Rd.) with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment was made in Clark Cemetery in Fremont, MI.
