I worked with Steve at Hackley for a number of years. I was a secretary in maintenance and Steve was my right hand man for all the setups and helped out with many problems we had, he was always there and always helpful. He would come into my office every morning to get the schedule for the day and we would talk a little. He talked about Anna. He always spoke fondly of his wife and his church also his boys. He was a fine person and I feel blessed I knew him and look for ward to seeing him in Heaven someday. Anna I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is a very hard time for you and your family. I just heard the news today from a couple different people. I'm so sorry to hear about Steve. I will remember him as a hard-working employee of Hackley Hospital AS WELL AS a very kind and helpful man. He always had a smile on his face and a moment to talk about "stuff". I can't remember how many days I walked into the hospital and there he was in the front entrance getting the front lobby ready for our guests and patients (as well as other areas of the hospital). He ALWAYS had time to help, too. May you be comforted by the support of family, friends, co-workers and memories of such a wonderful man! Thinking of you at this difficult time.
