Mrs. Venice Y. King, age 89, formerly of Evanston Illinois, died peacefully at her home in North Muskegon on Wednesday February 28th, 2007. She was born on November 15th, 1917 to Flossie Goold Yergensen and Alphonzo Yergensen in M Read Obituary

We knew Venice and her husband Carroll when they lived in Evanston. Venice served as a role model to many women here; a loving wife, willing to take on new challenges and activities, particularly her art. She had a great sense of humor. Mrs. King was a wonderful women. I feel so very blessed to have known her. I will always remember her kindness and interesting stories about her travels and life. She was truly an incredibly happy person. Our friendship meant a great deal to me. I will never forget the memories and kindness of her and her wonderful family.
