Mrs. W. Arlene Alderink's Obituary
Mrs. W. Arlene Alderink, age 72, went to be with her Lord early Sunday morning, March 16, 2008. She was born in Grand Rapids on November 30, 1935 to Kenneth and Laura (Gleason) Maynard and was raised in Hesperia. On August 7, 1954, Arlene married Joseph G. Alderink and they moved to Muskegon where they raised their family. She was a loving wife to Joe for over 53 years and a loving and caring mother to her children. Mrs. Alderink was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Joseph G. Alderink; 10 children, Tom (Debbie) Alderink, Sue (Gary) Tindall, Jim (Jean) Alderink, Shelly (Mike) Yonker, Larry (Kris) Alderink, Denise (Tony) Daves, Terise (Bruce) Middlecamp, Chris (Michael) Dowker, Joe Alderink, Jr., and Mindy (Jon) Prause; 23 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Gary (Barb) Maynard; 1 sister, Dawn (Mike) Schomogyi and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 grandchildren and 1 sister, Dixie Wilkinson. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. VISITATION will be 6-8PM Monday and 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at
