I am thrilled... how can I not be... to know you are in heaven with my Lord... but... I am so sad too. All my life, as long as I can remember, you have encouraged me, seen the best in me and cared enough about me to take time to really talk to me. Since returning to Michigan, you also extended your hand to my children. They grew to love you too. Anthony was so comfortable with you that we found him in your basement playing pool. When I asked him why he came down without asking, he told me "Walt said I could come and play anytime." In his little mind that meant whenever he wanted to-- without asking. He enjoyed being with you. Other times we would be missing Anthony and he would be in your back porch on Hile road just having a conversation with you, Walt. For a child under four, you even took the time to care. He'd come home and tell us all about your talks. April has always felt a closeness too. She would come over and visit, swing on your tree swing and show you things she was proud of. You never seemed rushed or bothered. Our visit less than a month ago was precious and once again, you took the time to talk, encourage and give advise to my graduating girl. You and Marion were interested and made our visit pure joy. Thanks you so much! When I was at Liberty, it was a welcomed visit that stuck with me. You and Marion came and visited me. Now I look back and feel truely blessed to have had your words to encourage me, your hugs to comfort me and your talks to give me strength. As you neighbors, your outstretched hands to J.J. and I were most precious. Your words taught me the important things in life and what matters most. For now, I will miss you, but I'll be seeing you in heaven. There we will talk again.. Goodbye my friend, spiritual mentor and neighbor. Love Tammy##imported-begin##Tammy Arbogast##imported-end##
