Mr. William Louis "Bill" Klingel's Obituary
Mr. William Louis “Bill” Klingel, age 80, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Muskegon. He was born in Scott County, MO on July 19, 1927 to David and Lessie (Tippy) Klingel and had been a resident of Twin Lake for 38 years. Bill was a veteran of the United States Marines having served in the Korean War. He was employed by the Operating Engineers Local 324 for 40 years. Bill was a member of the Ham Radio Club. On September, 14, 1968, Bill married the former Betty Gager Jones and she survives him along with their daughter, Billy Jo Fuson; his 5 children, Gary Klingel, Byron (Linda) Klingel, Sonja (Eddie) Fisher, Bobby (Judy) Klingel, William L. (Penny) Klingel; 5 step-children, Gladys (Keith) Folger, James Roy (Pam) Jones, Arnold Jones, Lorena Kooienga, Marilyn Bean; 13 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 15 step-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bob Klingel, Charles David (Mary) Klingel; 1 sister, Margaret (Curtis) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
