Ms. Vicki Lynn (Visser) Turner's Obituary
Ms. Vicki Lynn (Visser) Turner, age 48, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on May 8, 1963 in Muskegon to Arthur and Nancy (Schrier) Visser. Vicki had worked at Mercy Hospital as a medical transcriptionist and had attended Kainay Community Church. She enjoyed reading, horseback riding, traveling and always had a love of butterflies. Vicki was very creative and enjoyed working with ceramics and scrap-booking. She is survived by her parents, Arthur and Nancy Visser; her brother, John (Michelle) Visser of Conklin, MI; her sister, Sally Kidd of Huntington Beach, CA and two special nephews, Caleb Kidd and Anthony Link. She was preceded in death by a baby brother. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00AM Saturday at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Rev. Joseph Vest officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in McNitt Cemetery. MEMORIALS to Harbor Hospice would be appreciated.
