Muriel L. Fredericksen's Obituary
Muriel L. Fredericksen, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Muskegon. She was born on May 11, 1927 in Muskegon to Olaf and Mabel (Hornauer) Olsen and resided in the area her entire life. Muriel was a past member of Olivet Reformed Church. She drove a school bus for Muskegon Public Schools for 14 years, prior to her retiring in 1987. Muriel enjoyed gardening, spending time with her children and grandchildren and watching her Detroit Tigers. SURVIVORS include two children, (Robert) Scott Fredericksen of North Muskegon and Rhonda Fredericksen of Twin Lake; five grandchildren: Heather, Bobby, Shannon, Mindi and Laci; nine great grandchildren; and sisters, Shirley Schnick and Mariann (Ron) Cooper. Muriel was preceded in death by her son, Terry Fredericksen; two sisters, Marilyn Ferris and Lois Moore; and brother, Lester Olsen. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Hal Pearson officiating.
