Muriel A. Wiser's Obituary
Muriel Ann Wiser, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 22, 2020. She was born in Muskegon to Russell and Doris (Hopkins) Buys and was a life resident. Muriel worked over 20 years as an administrative assistant for Reeths-Puffer Schools and retired in 2009. She volunteered for Kid’s Food Basket for many years. On November 24, 1983, she married Thomas D. Wiser in Las Vegas, NV. Survivors include 2 children, Sheli A. (Rex) Vanderlinde, Bill R. (Shelley) Kops; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Vanderlinde, Evan and Ashley Kops; brother, Russell (Di) Buys; sister, Connie (Jim) Panozzo; and her very special nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; and her parents, Russ and Doris Buys. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2020 outside under the South Portico at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 followed by a Celebration of Life at Bella Maria’s Event Center (513 Pontaluna Road, Norton Shores).
