Muriel M. VanDonkelaar's Obituary
Mrs. Muriel M. VanDonkelaar, age 90, passed away, Thursday, May 15, 2008 in Gaylord, MI. She was born September 20, 1917 in Leelanau City, MI to Arthur and Orma (Robinson) Clark and has lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. She was a member of Laketon Bethel Reformed Church. On October 27, 1937, she married William G. VanDonkelaar in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1997. SURVIVORS include 3 children: William (June) VanDonkelaar, Jr. of Muskegon, Ormamarie Moon, of Zephyrhills, FL, Joan (Joel) Sietsema of Gaylord, MI; 4 grandchildren, Suzanne (David) Sietsema–Hoefer, M. Scott Moon, Sherri (William) O’Neil, Andrea (Jason) Trebilcock; and 2 great-grandchildren, Joel D. Quay and Annika R. Trebilcock. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Dale Moon. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 19, 2008 at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Pastor Sherwin Brantsen officiating. Burial will take place in Laketon Township Cemetery.
