Myra M. Mingle's Obituary
Mrs. Myra M. Mingle, age 67, passed away Monday, June 09, 2014 in Spring Lake, MI after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Muskegon on December 5, 1946 to Robert and Iva (Jones) Houtman. Myra worked for over 40 years as a bus driver for Reeths Puffer Schools, Tulsa, OK Public Schools, and Pioneer Resources in Muskegon. She enjoyed attending activities at Fellowship Reformed Church. Myra was very crafty and artistic and she loved to crochet, carve wood and arts and crafts. She is survived by her children, Jim (Rhonda) Linderman II, Niki (Miguel) Ochoa and Carla (Jamie) Givens; 10 grandchildren, James III, Ashley, Tyler, Brett, Suzy, Stephen, Aaron, Trevor, Ally and Angel; one great-grandson, Jonathon; one brother, Tom (David) Martin; two sisters, Christine (Marty) Hulka and Janet (Jim) Linderman; one sister-in-law, Debbie Houtman and former husband, Richard Hoover. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Houtman and Iva Jones and one brother, Bob Houtman. A MEMORIAL GATHERING and picnic will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Jim and Rhonda’s home (2840 Vulcan St., Muskegon). Please bring a side dish to pass. MEMORIALS to the family to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
