Mr. Myron W. Carter's Obituary
Myron William Carter, age 82, passed from earth to glory Wednesday, September 9, 2015. He was born March 22, 1933 in Elbridge Township to William and Ethel Carter (Rudolph). Myron graduated from Hart High School in 1951 and had served his country in the military from 1953 to 1955. He had been employed at Brunswick Corp. for 43 years. After retirement Myron and Joyce spent winters in Bradenton, FL. He was a member of Mona Shores Baptist Church for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joyce (Brimmer) Carter; daughter, Kimalyn Averill; granddaughters, Anjanette (Barry) Klecka, Dawn (Torry) Hughes, Shanna Averill, Mya Carter; great-grandchildren, Ian Klecka, Ryan Klecka, Carter Hughes, Cadence Hughes; brother-in-law, Graydon Norton; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Dennis Jeffrey Carter and Michael Allen Carter; and sister, Esther Norton of Whitehall. A MEMORIAL OPEN HOUSE will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Mona Shores Baptist Church (3800 Lake Harbor Rd.) from 2–4 PM. In lieu of flowers contributions in Myron’s name can be made to either Harbor Hospice or Mona Shores Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
