Myrtle K. Moore's Obituary
Mrs. Myrtle K. Moore, age 93, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born on July 3, 1911 in Grand Rapids to Albert & Grace (Snover) Pierce, and had resided in both Grand Haven and Muskegon for most of her life. Mrs. Moore was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church, and belonged to their Friendship Circle for many years. On July 3, 1931 she married George L. Moore, and he preceded her in death on December 9, 1966. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Janice Moore of Norton Shores; brother, Harold (Marge) Pierce of Ft. Myers, FL; sister-in-law, Dorothy Pierce of Grand Rapids; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by 1 son, Roger Lee; brother, Arthur Pierce; and sister, Nettie Alverson. SERVICES will be 11 AM Saturday at Calvin Christian Reformed Church (937 W. Norton) with Pastor Ron Nyenhuis officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Lakeshore Cemetery. Memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association or Muskegon Rescue Mission will be appreciated.
