Nancy J. Backer's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy J. Backer, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014. She was born on December 28, 1940 to Harold and Wilma (Gilson) Reed in Muskegon. Prior to her retirement in 2004, she worked at SEIU – Service Employees International Union. Nancy always enjoyed being with friends and family along with visiting casinos and shopping for jewelry. SURVIVORS include 2 children, James Ritz Jr. and Jeffrey Ritz; brother, Chester (Sharon) Reed; sister, Darlene Cook, sister-in-law, Harriet Reed and several nieces and nephews. A private gathering will be held.
