Nancy Louise Bectel's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Louise Bectel, age 77, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Spring Lake, MI, on January 8, 1938, to William V. and Leila (Bush) Stafford. On May 10, 1958, Nancy married Terry G. Bectel, Sr., in Fruitport, MI and he preceded her in death on November 25, 1987. After raising her five children, Nancy worked at Superior Metal Products for 10 years before retiring in 1997. Nancy was a loving and devoted mother who cherished her grandchildren. She is survived by four children, Terry (Carla) Bectel, Jr., William (Kimberly) Bectel, Patrick (Malinda) Bectel and Dorthy (Todd) Brown, Sr.; one son-in-law, Dennis Bringedahl, Sr.; 14 grandchildren, Terry III, Jacob, Aaron, Alycia, Kristina, Brittany, Angelica, Dennis Jr., Jason, Matthew, Nicholas, Brendan, Taylor, and Todd, Jr.; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard “Chub” (Dean) Stafford and Alan “Doug” Stafford; and one sister, Verna “Red” Nichols. In addition to her husband, Nancy was preceded in death by one daughter, Cathleen Bringedahl; her parents; two sisters and one brother. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2015, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Pastor John Brown officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery.
