Mrs. Nancy Irene Boyden's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy I. Boyden, age 70, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at a local hospital. Nancy was born April 21, 1946 in Trenton, TN to Paul M. and Janie E. (Goodman) Quinton. Nancy married Fredrick H. Boyden on April 24, 1965 and he preceded her in death on November 22, 2008. She had worked as a health care nurse for the State of Michigan for 30 years, prior to her retirement in 2003. Nancy loved country music, camping, being outdoors; but above all, she loved spending time with her family; especially the grandkids. Nancy is survived by her son, Fredrick P. Boyden of Muskegon; 5 grandchildren, Angel, Aleana, Alissa, Adreanna, Laura (Greg) and Justin (Ericka); 10 great-grandchildren, Baby Jay, Vanessa, Marissa, Makailah, Nevaeh, Gregory, Xavier, Brystal, Jordan and Hailey; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jim Boyden; 4 brothers and a sister. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Pastor Gerald Hagans officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5pm.
