Nancy A. Dood's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy A. Dood, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, September 19, 2022, in Muskegon. She was born October 29, 1928, in Muskegon to Festus P. and Mae M. (Kison) Jarvis and was a lifelong resident. Nancy had been a member of the former First Christian Reformed Church. On March 26, 1949, she married Claude M. Dood and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2010. Survivors include two children: George (Linda) Dood, Sue (Dennis) Deubner; son-in-law: Doug Dykstra; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son David Dood and daughter Cheryl Dykstra; two brothers: Ernest and Robert Jarvis. The funeral service for Mrs. Dood will be Friday, September 23, at 11:00 AM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Reeman Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Dood may be made to Christian Care.
