Nancy L. Middlecamp's Obituary
Nancy Lou Middlecamp, age 80, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, in Muskegon, MI. Nancy was born in Muskegon, MI, on October 21, 1941, to Ormal and Sarah (Elkins) Ritz. She was raised in Conklin, MI, and she graduated from Coopersville high school in 1959, and even now she was still getting lunch with her graduating classmates once a month. On January 9, 1960, she married Elmer Middlecamp, and they spent 28 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on November 11, 1988. In her free time Nancy enjoyed reading, gardening, and spending time up north. She was blessed to be able to travel on multiple cruises, and even went parasailing and cave tubing in Belize at 70 years old. She liked listening to the music of George Strait, and especially loved her grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children: Paula Justice, Gene (Karla) Middlecamp, and Mark Middlecamp; six grandchildren: Sarah Hull, Jennifer (Juan) Zuniga, Jessica (Aaron LeMaire) Justice, Wade (Jessica Clafflin) Justice, Emma Middlecamp, and Sam Middlecamp; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Ormal (Marcia) Ritz Jr., several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Peanut. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elmer; and her close sister in-law, Darlene Botten. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be taking place for Nancy at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI, with VISITATION taking place an hour prior.
