Nancy Nielsen's Obituary
Nancy Nielsen, age 72, of Spring Lake passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Heartwood Lodge. She was born November 8, 1945 in Ludington to Merle and Grace (Shaffer) Nielsen. When her parents passed away at a young age she was lovingly raised by Harold and Nellie Struve.
Nancy was a joy to be around. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, shopping and going out for dinner. She had been an active board member of Harbor Transit for many years. Most of all she loved being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Robert (Ashley) Nielsen of Spring Lake; grandchildren, Robert, II. and Presley Jo; sister, Janet (Harvey) Jacobs; brother, Don (Kathy) Struve; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Grace, Harold and Nellie; two brothers, Dale and Lyle Struve.
At this time a private service will take place. Interment will take place in Spring Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Nancy may be given to the American Cancer Society. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
