Nancy M. Panozzo's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy M. Panozzo, age 94, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 in Grand Haven. She was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania on July, 7, 1922 to Frank and Teresa (Futia) Sirianni. Nancy married Victor Panozzo Sr. on June 15, 1946 and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. She was a secretary at the former Bennett Pump Company prior to retiring in 1984. Nancy was a longtime member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and was a member of Women’s Guild and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was an avid reader and enjoyed baking, watching the Pistons and the Tigers, but the time spent with her family was always the most important. SURVIVORS include her children, Mary (Don) DeHollander, Catherine Lieg, Victor Jr. (Pam) Panozzo and Joe (Sheri) Panozzo; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Harriet) Sirianni, Frank Sirianni; sisters, Theresa Perry and Carmel (Bill) Greer; and brother-in-law, Rudy Panozzo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Victor Sr.; her son, Paul; and her great-grandson, Sean Flynn. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum presiding. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Muskegon. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 with the Rosary at 7PM and one hour prior to the service (9-10 AM) at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
