Nancy L. Balcom's Obituary
Mrs. Nancy L. Balcom, age 68, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at the VNS Hospice Residence following a brief illness. Nancy was born in Muskegon on August 6, 1941 to Raymond and Norma (Washburn) Brown and was a life long resident. She married Mr. William R. Balcom in Muskegon on June 20, 1959. Nancy and Bill enjoyed classic cars and traveling to car shows with their two classic 55 and 56 Chevrolets. She was formerly employed at Integrated Metal Technology and helped both of her daughters with their homecare businesses. Nancy is survived by: husband, William; two daughters, Dawn (Jerry) Lewis and Michelle (Ron) Macomber; two sons, William (Laurie) Balcom and Shane (Lindsey) Balcom all of Muskegon; brother, Raymond (Beverly) Brown of Muskegon; 19 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at: The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 11:00 A.M., Monday, September 28, 2009, Rev. Jonathan Rager officiating. Visitation: Sunday, 3-6 P.M. Interment: Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
