Nanette kay Kammeraad's Obituary
Nanette Kay Kammeraad, age 82, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at her daughter’s home. She was born March 10, 1939, in Grand Haven to Roy and Rose (Bessinger) Johnson.
Nanette enjoyed baking, crafts, gardening, walking and hunting mushrooms. She could always be counted on to help raise her grandchildren. Nanette truly loved the Lord.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Siri (Doug) Slagboom; two grandchildren, Reid and Sloane Slagboom; two nieces, Shannah Beukema and Kimberly Kammeraad; three nephews: Troy Beukema, Greg Kammeraad and Von Kammeraad; two sisters-in-law, Paula and Beverly Kammeraad; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig “Lou” Kammeraad on January 29, 2008, and her sister, Bonnie Beukema.
A private graveside service will be held. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. If you would like to make a memorial donation in Nanette’s name, please do so to the local church that you attend.
